KEVIN WEEDMARK
Editor
Kevin has been with the World-Spectator for 20 years. He came to Moosomin to begin his journalism career after graduating from the University of Regina. He started as a reporter-photographer, became editor after two years, and purchased the business in 2002. Kevin is currently president of the Moosomin Chamber of Commerce.
KARA KINNA
Advertising Manager
Kara has been at the World-Spectator since 2002. She grew up in the Estevan area, graduated from the University of Regina School of Journalism and Communications, and worked at CBC Newsworld and Yorkton This Week before joining the staff at the World-Spectator. Kara is our advertising manager, planning and executing special sections and promotions to help develop business across the region.
CHRIS JASTER
Reporter/Photographer
Chris Jaster is our reporter-photographer. He is a graduate of the University of Regina School of Journalism. He has worked as a sports reporter and copy editor at the Regina Leader-Post, and as a summer reporter at the Estevan Mercury. He joined the World-Spectator staff in October and is enjoying getting to know our part of the world.
JEFF DEMELO
Production/Print Designer
Jeff is originally from London, Ontario, where he studied Graphic Design. He helps design and lay out our advertising each week. He has been with the World-Spectator since last year.
JOSH GAGNON
Production/Print Designer
Josh wrote a music column for the World-Spectator while going to high school in Elkhorn. He joined our staff full-time after earning his diploma in Graphic Design.
JINA CREIGHTON
Web Design/Photographer
Jina Creighton is the World-Spectator’s web designer and photographer. Jina is a talented photographer who has completed the Applied Photography course at the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology. She is now expanding her design skills in the area of web design.
BERNIE NOSTERUD
Accounts and Circulation Manager
Bernie has been with the World-Spectator since 2003 and is by far the most organized person in the office. She handles billing and the accounts for the business, as well as ensuring we have accurate circulation statements to file with our circulation auditors. Bernie has also served as the secretary-treasurer of the Moosomin Chamber of Commerce for the past few years.
SHARON BALOGH
Customer Service
Sharon started at the World-Spectator in 2008. It is her cheery voice you hear when you call the office or come to the front counter. She previously worked for the Kipling Citizen for several years and most recently at Bear Claw Casino in the accounting department.
DYLAN FRONDALL
Student
Dylan writes the “Looking Back” column each week and helps with jobs such as filing tearsheets and collating statements. Dylan is a great addition to our team.
