RCMP arrest fourth suspect

RCMP have arrested the fourth suspect in the shooting at Onanole Wednesday.
On Wednesday, at approximately 9:30 pm, RCMP officers from the Yellowhead RCMP Detachment area were responding to a report of a break and enter at a residence in the Municipality of Harrison Park, Manitoba, near Onanole.
When officers arrived on scene and exited the police vehicle, shots were fired at them.
A 42-year-old male officer was shot and transported to Winnipeg hospital, where he remains in stable condition with serious injuries.
Three suspects were taken into custody Thursday morning. The fourth suspect was arrested Thursday afternoon.
“A member of our family was seriously hurt in this incident,” emphasized Assistant Commander Kolody. “The RCMP is a family and such circumstances affect every officer and employee coast-to-coast. We appreciate all the support we have been receiving, and those thoughts are being passed along to our injured officer and his family.”
