Seven charged in Deschambault home invasion

On Sept 21 members from the Deschambault Lake RCMP were called to a reported home invasion in Deschambault Lake.

When members arrived they found three males had been assaulted at the residence and there was severe damage done to the property. Windows were smashed and glass was all around the residence.

As a result of investigation the following people are facing charges:

Blake Ballantyne (born 2000-02-01)
Mischief over $5000 Sect 430(3) of the Criminal Code
Possession of a Weapon to commit an offence Sect 88(2) of the Criminal Code

Female Youth
Possession of a Weapon to commit an offence Sect 88(2) of the Criminal Code
Resist Arrest Sect 129(a) of the Criminal Code
Mischief over $5000 Sect 430(3) of the Criminal Code

Elijah Fredrick Ballantyne (born 1994-07-01)
Possession of a Weapon to commit an offence Sect 88(2) of the Criminal Code
Mischief over $5000 Sect 430(3) of the Criminal Code
Assault with a weapon Sect 267(a) of the Criminal Code
Obstruction Sect 129(a) of the Criminal Code

Jade Ballantyne (born 1996-09-08)
Mischief over $5000 Sect 430(3) of the Criminal Code
Possession of a Weapon to commit an offence Sect 88(2) of the Criminal Code
Breach of a Probation Order Sect 733.1(1)) of the Criminal Code X2

Jefferson Bradley Custer (born 1998-12-06)
Mischief over $5000 Sect 430(3) of the Criminal Code
Obstruction Sect 129(a) of the Criminal Code
Uttering threats Sect 264.1(1)(a) of the Criminal Code X2

Lester Custer (1995-06-01)
Mischief over $5000 Sect 430(3) of the Criminal Code
Possession of a Weapon to commit an offence Sect 88(2) of the Criminal Code
Assault with a weapon Sect 267(a) of the Criminal Code X2
Fail to comply with an Undertaking Sect 145(3) of the Criminal Code X2

Aggravated Assault Sect 430(3) of the Criminal Code
This matter is still under investigation.

All the accused have been remanded for court and will make their next court appearance on Monday, Sept 24th 2018 at La Ronge Provincial court at 10:00 am.
