RCMP looking for Jarrett Poitras

Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP is looking for Jarrett Poitras in relation to an armed robbery at the “Stop N Go” and a break and enter into a residence that both occurred on July 23, 2019, in Muscowpetung First Nation, Saskatchewan.

Jarrett Poitras was involved as well with Jere Pinacie in another robbery at the same “Stop N Go” on March 4, 2019.

Jarrett Poitras hasn’t been seen since July 23, 2019. Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP officers believe Jarrett Poitras is considered to be armed and dangerous. He is not to be approached. If you see him, please call 911.

Relating to the July 23, 2019, incidents, Jarrett Poitras (DOB: 1994-01-14) of Muscowpetung First Nation is charged with the following offences under the Canadian Criminal Code:

- Robbery with Firearm, Sec. 344(1)(a.1);
- Possession of Firearm Contrary to Order, Sec. 117.01(1);
- Pointing a Firearm, Sec. 87;
- Use Firearm in Commission of Offence, Sec. 85(1)(a);
- Careless use of Firearm, Sec. 86(1);
- Unauthorized Possession of Firearm, Sec. 91(1);
- Possession of Firearm in Motor Vehicle, Sec. 94;
- Disguise with Intent, Sec. 351(1);
- Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose, Sec. 88;
- Break and Enter and Steal Firearm, Sec. 98; and
- Break and Enter and Commit Theft, Sec. 348(1)(b).

A second suspect involved in the July 23, 2019 incidents was arrested by the Regina Police Service on July 24, 2019. Michael Ethan Obey (DOB: 1998-05-23) of Regina has been charged with the following offences under the Canadian Criminal Code:

- Robbery with Firearm, Sec. 344(1)(a.1);
- Possession of Firearm Contrary to Order, Sec. 117.01(1);
- Pointing a Firearm, Sec. 87;
- Use Firearm in Commission of Offence, Sec. 85(1)(a);
- Careless use of Firearm, Sec. 86(1);
- Unauthorized Possession of Firearm, Sec. 91(1);
- Possession of Firearm in Motor Vehicle, Sec. 94;
- Disguise with Intent, Sec. 351(1);
- Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose, Sec. 88;
- Break and Enter and Steal Firearm, Sec. 98;
- Break and Enter and Commit Theft, Sec. 348(1)(b); and
- Drive while Prohibited, Sec. 259(4).

Michael Ethan Obey is currently in custody and is scheduled to appear in Provincial Court in Regina on July 25, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.
