Highway 16 closed due to collision

Yorkton RCMP would like to advise motorist that highway #16, 8 km West of Springside, Sask is closed.
Motorist are encouraged to utilize an alternate highway around this location. Highways #10 and #47 at Yorkton may be the best routes.
The closure is expect to be for an extended period of time this evening.
RCMP and Emergency services are on scene of a serious motor vehicle collision.
Preliminary information is that at approx 8:00 pm this evening three vehicles were involved in a collision with serious injuries.
A semi-truck, pickup and van were the involved vehicles.
This matter is at its initial stages and still under investigation.
