Virden RCMP respond to fatal collision

At 7:40 am, this morning, October 25, 2019, Virden RCMP were advised of a single vehicle rollover on Sioux Valley Dakota Nation.
The initial investigation has determined that a lone male was travelling on a gravel road within the community when he lost control of the vehicle and collided with an embankment.
The collision resulted in the vehicle rolling over several times.
The driver, a 26-year-old male from Sioux Valley Dakota Nation, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced deceased on scene.
Alcohol and speed are considered to be factors in the collision.
