There is no indication the either foul play or Covid-19 played any role in the death of a truck driver who was found deceased in the cab of his truck in Moosomin on Saturday.
On Saturday, March 28, Moosomin RCMP responded to a report of an overdue truck driver.
He had stopped for a break in Moosomin and was not responding to calls from his dispatch.
Moosomin RCMP members located the vehicle and gained access to the vehicle.
The driver, a 63 year old male was located deceased in the sleeping area.
The Coroner's office was engaged and a physician was consulted.
At this time there is no indication of foul play, nor is there anything to suggest COVID-19 was a factor.
