Police say no risk to public safety

Police say there is no risk to public safety as they continue their investigation into the death of two men at the Prairie Pride Motel in Moosomin.

On Monday, September 25 at 2:00 p.m., Moosomin RCMP were called to the Prairie Pride Motel after two adult men were found deceased inside one of the rooms.

The men checked in on Saturday, Sept. 23, and when they hadn't checked out, the room was checked before police were called Monday afternoon.

Investigators are working to determine the circumstances of these two sudden deaths.

According to police, there is no risk to public safety.

Moosomin RCMP is investigating, along with the assistance of Yorkton Forensic Identification Section and the Office of the Chief Coroner.

Autopsies are scheduled for later this week in Regina.
