Green van with BC plates found

UPDATE: The green van with BC plates RCMP had been looking for has been located and as of 10:20 Thursday morning Broadview RCMP have stopped the van and are speaking with the driver.

Moosomin RCMP had been asking people to be on the lookout for a green van with BC plates, and let police know if they see the van in the area.

Lynnelle Brehaut of Whitewood said an older man, estimated to be in his 60s, in an green Astro van with BC plates tried to get her son to enter his van after school in Whitewood Wednesday, by telling him he would give him a new hockey stick.

The van was also spotted in the Moosomin area. RCMP are currently patrolling for the van in Moosomin and Whitewood.
