McLean man in custody over weapons charges

In the early afternoon of January 5, 2018, the Indian Head RCMP responded to a weapons complaint at a local business in McLean, SK.
Upon police arrival, a total of six males were inside the business and all were arrested. Subsequent to the police investigation, five of the males were released from custody without any charges.
Daniel Leonard (60 years old) of McLean, SK was held in custody and is facing a total of twelve criminal charges including assault with a weapon, uttering threats, firearms offences, possessing a weapon and numerous breaches of court imposed conditions.
The accused made his first court appearance in Provincial Court in Fort Qu’Appelle on January 8, 2018 at 10:00 am.
