Second fatal fire in SE Sask

For the second time in less than a week there has been a fatal fire in Southeast Saskatchewan. One person passed away in a fire in Moosomin Saturday and two people have been found deceased after a fire in Carnduff.
At approximately 2:00 a.m. on May 17, 2018, Carnduff RCMP and Carnduff Fire and Rescue responded to a complaint on the 100 block of Baglole Crescent, where two residences were on fire.
What are believed to be human remains of two individuals were discovered inside one of the residences.
This investigation is ongoing with assistance from the Office of the Chief Coroner and Yorkton Forensic Identification Services (FIS).
The Provincial Fire Examiner is attending the scene and will be conducting an investigation with assistance from Carnduff RCMP into the cause of the fire.
