Virden RCMP investigate homicide

On Saturday, July 21, 2018, at approximately 1:15 pm, Virden RCMP received a report of a man in medical distress at a residence in Virden, Manitoba.
When officers arrived, there were several people at the scene.
Officers noticed the victim had injuries consistent with being in an altercation.
The 31-year-old man from Virden was transported to hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The death is being treated as a homicide and is still under investigation.
Virden RCMP, RCMP Major Crime Services, and RCMP Forensic Identification Services are assisting with the ongoing investigation.
