Charges of First Degree Murder have been laid and a Canada Wide Warrant has been issued for 17 year old Adam William Lee BIRD of Manitoba.
Recent information suggests that BIRD may be in British Columbia, however, police are not ruling out the fact that BIRD may be in Alberta or other parts of the country.
Due to the nature of the offence and in the interest of public safety, a court order under Section 110(4) of the Youth Criminal Justice Act was applied for and granted authorizing the publication of the accused’s identity.
Police are advising the public that BIRD is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached if located. Police are asking that anyone with any information in regards to the whereabouts of BIRD to call the RCMP or local Police Agency immediately.
