RCMPs from Foam Lake & Wadena detachments received a call this morning at 11:33 a.m. to attend to a collision between a semi tractor trailer unit and a train.
The collision occurred at the intersection of Highway #35 & Highway #5.
The train collided with the trailer portion of the vehicle and not the cab. Nobody was injured and the train was never de-railed.
There was extensive damage to the trailer. Local Fire & EMS did attend to the scene but, thankfully, neither were needed. RCMP are now clear from the scene.
