A lot happens in one year: siblings turn a year older, seasons change, special moments are missed.

Her family has now spent 365 days without Mekayla Bali.

Today marks one year since she was reported missing and last seen. Today the RCMP is reaching out to the public – to help find and bring her home.

Mekayla, 17, was last seen on April 12, 2016 at the Yorkton bus depot at 1:45 p.m. Since then she has left no digital or personal footprint.

To date the search has included Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, B.C. and even the U.S., focusing on cities like Regina, Prince Albert, Calgary and Vancouver.

Aided by the generosity of the local community the family has raised a $25,000 reward.

Mekayla is 5-foot-2, weighs 114 pounds, and has blonde hair and blue eyes. She wears her hair in different styles, sometimes changing its colour. She may also go by the name Mekayla Niebergall.
