Cecile Burroughs, 73, of Moosomin, Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2023.
Cecile was born on June 27, 1949 to Jean Louis Fleury and Marie Josephine Ledoux in the municipality of Russell, Manitoba.
In 1966 she met Gordon and they wed in April of 1968, going on to have four beautiful daughters, Shirley, Barbara, Christina, and Beverly.
Cecile was the biggest supporter of her six grandchildren, Samuel, Sheldon, Bradley, Brenden, Haven and Nevin and her three great-grandchildren, Calin, Clarissa, and Zara. Cecile supported them through the many passions and difficulties in their lives.
Cecile made it her mission to make everyone feel loved and cared for.
When she wasn’t filling her home with warmth, kindness and love, she could be found outside listening to the birds or watching the sunsets.
Cecile was a kind, generous, gentle and caring person who loved to laugh, visit, tell stories, joke around and loved to listen and sing along to music.
Cecile was predeceased by her mother Marie Josephine Ledoux, father Jean Louis Fleury, brothers Lawrence Fleury, Jim Fleury, Mervin Fleury, Elmer Fleury, Alfred Fleury, William Fleury, Joseph Fleury, sisters Aggie Fleury, and Nora Fleury.
Cecile is survived by her husband Gordon, her daughters Shirley, Barb (Scott), Tina, Bev (Sean), her grandchildren Sam, Sheldon, Bradley (AJ), Brenden, Haven, and Nevin.
Cecile is also survived by her three great-grandchildren, Calin, Clarissa, and Zara.
She is survived by sisters Verna (Rabbit) and Yvonne (Brian) and numerous nieces and nephews.
She will be missed deeply by many.
