William (Bill) Charles Poole
January 7, 1923 - May 9, 2014

Bill was born on a farm in the Manson area and farmed until the year 2000.
His parents were Fred and Agnes (Sedgwick). The family consisted of Jack, Bill (Joan Skilton), Audrey (Mauree Cohen), Ruth (Walter Marshall), Shirley (Doug Moffat), Pat (Ken Lochhead) and Garry (Heather McRae).
Bill and Joan were married in 1953. Their family consisted of Chris (Diane Mazurek), Kim (Sandra Smalley), Randy (Tammy King), Darryl, and Graem. They have seven grandchildren: Stacey, Julia, Kathleen (Chris and Diane), Trevor, Troy (Kim and Sandra), Nicole, Richelle (Randy and Tammy).
He raised cattle and planted cereal grains on the farm.
He always had time for his children and their families.
He loved collecting old bottles and lamps.
He was a kind and gentle person.
He was early to rise and always worked late.
He walked around the yard so fast that you had to run to keep up.
He could shovel grain faster than anyone I knew.
He would always help a neighbor when they needed help.
He loved watching curling (especially teams from Manitoba).
He could solve the most difficult wire puzzles.
He was shy in public.
He was fascinated by computers and technology.
He played Rock Band with his grandchildren.
He loved Joan always.
We miss him dearly.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
