Beverly was born on May 25, 1938 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan to LeRoy and Evelyn Ganyo. Bev grew up in Moose Jaw with her sisters Darlene and Pat and brothers Lee and Danny.

Following completion of her schooling at Moose Jaw Tech, she went to work for Maccam Transport in Moose Jaw. It was there that she met Alan Ferguson of Moosomin. They married in 1961 and moved to Prince Albert. With stops in Saskatoon and Melfort, they had two sons, David and Darryl, before permanently settling in Moosomin.

She would spend the next decade doing some of the bookwork for the family business, Moosomin Tire Centre, but her primary focus was raising her kids. Later, as the boys enrolled in high school and later university, she went to work at the Bank of Montreal.

After the boys left home Bev and Al spent many summers at their cabin on Moosomin Lake and would host a small family gathering there most years.

Her greatest joy in life was looking after kids-both her own-and later her six grandchildren. Her family photo albums are filled with many memories with her grandchildren.

In the last four years she struggled with her illness, but would never forget a child’s upcoming birthday or special event. She and Al celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary May 6.
Bev was predeceased by her parents, sister Pat, and brother Danny.

She will be greatly missed by her husband Al; sons David (Glenda) and Darryl (Carole); sister Darlene (Jim) Krause; brother Lee (Marlene) Ganyo; many nieces and nephews; six grandchildren: Louise, Marcus and Joshua (David and Glenda’s), and Jacob, Nathan and Leanne (Darryl and Carole’s).

Bev’s family wishes to express their gratitude to Dr. Kerkhoff, Dr. Plewes, Dr. Van Jaarsveld, nurse Vanessa Dix and the rest of the very caring nursing staff at the Southeast Integrated Care Centre.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Moosomin and District Healthcare Foundation, in memory of Bev. E-mail or sign the online book of condolences at www.carscaddenfuneralchapel.com.
