With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Wayne Greer on Thursday, December 4, 2014.
Don was born to Bessie and Keith Greer on October 27, 1935 in Spy Hill, Saskatchewan and lived in Spy Hill until 18 years of age when he moved to Winnipeg to work at the Royal Bank from 1954 to 1956.
He worked at Christies Real Estate from 1956 to 1978 and then joined forces with two co-workers and formed Sussex Realty. He retired in 1996 and enjoyed his winters in warm climates with his longtime companion Anne Coltart.
Don is survived by his sister Judy (Doug Seebach, Scott and Barb and their families); brother Rob (Norma, Brilene and Michelle); aunts Jean Dunsmore and Flo Ralph; as well as many cousins and friends.
A memorial service for Don was held on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard, Winnipeg.
