Ron Howard Russill was born on February 27, 1930 on a farm near Mair, Sask.

He attended school at Grangehurst School. At 13 years old he quit school and started driving a fuel truck and continued driving truck until he was 19. He then began working for CN Rail doing track maintenance.

Ron and Beulah were married August 22, 1953 in Maryfield, Sask. They lived, farmed and raised a family in the Mair, Sask. area for 34 years. They operated a mixed farm of grain and cattle and raised four children (two girls and two boys).

Ron enjoyed the company of neighbors and friends. Often times they would get together to play cards or go dancing. Ron was a hard-working man, dedicated to his family and loving wife Beulah. He lived many happy years on their farm.

In 1988 he retired from farming and moved into Maryfield. In his heart he would always be a farmer and enjoyed gardening and tinkering. He enjoyed visits from his children, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends.

Ron is predeceased by his parents Iona and Elmer, and sister Esther.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Beulah; his brothers and sister Keith (Joan), Lloyd (Rose), Agnes (Joe); brother-in-law Len; his children Janet (Terry), Barb (Les), Mark (Karen), and Wayne (Ashley); his grandchildren Nick, Stacy, Jason, Aaron, Kelly, Chris, Dustin, Chelsea, Alyssa, and Cale; step grandchildren Jodi, Kara, Nolan, and Brady; several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
