Theresa Katheleen Sheane was born October 7th, 1935 on a farm near Fairlight, Sask.

She was the seventh child of William (Bill) and Mary Sheane.

She went to Martin School until Grade 8 and then went to Moosomin and took her Grade 9.

She met her partner in crime and best friend, Ralph McMullen, at the age of 13 at a Martin School dance. Theresa married him at 19 years old on June 4th of 1955 in Moosomin and they had 42 adventurous years of marriage.

They went farming with his dad’s family and bought their own land and built their first house together. They moved in to the basement December 1962 and lived in the basement until the house was completed.

Ralph and Theresa had 5 wonderful children: Kathy, Gary, Marnie, Ross and Marg.

Mom was a very independent lady — a force to be reckoned with — she made all of her own choices her whole entire life. She worked hard on the farm: milking cows, raising chickens, driving the tractor and combine, pitching bales - she could put in a man’s full day’s work and still made time to raise five children and always opened her arms and heart to others that came into her life.

One of her greatest treasures was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and the times they spent together.

Mom had a special corner at the farm where she would watch and listen to the “bs” and in the hospital she had her corner where family surrounded her. The stories got bigger and the “bs” got thicker. Theresa passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on April 30th, 2016.

Theresa is survived by Kathy (Murray), Curtis (Bridget) - Ethan, Lewis and Kyle, Lisa (Mike)-Cameron and Landon, Blair (Chelsea) - Blayke and Joey; Gary (Lorna), Pam (Curtis) - Sawyer, Brandy and Candice (Dallas); Marnie (Brian), Matt (Brettan); Ross, Kris and Alexa; Marguerite (Dave), Jayden and Jillian. Brother, Clifford Sheane and sister Carol (Harvey) Paskell and numerous neices and nephews.
