In loving memory of Beverley Felsing, loving wife of the late Melville Felsing, who passed away at her family home in Rocanville, Sask. on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at the age of 77 years.

Bev was the second child born to Reginald and Erma Plummer on August 17, 1939 in Stockholm, Sask. She grew up on her parents' farm in the Yarbo area. She had two siblings: her sister Arkley and her brother Ian.

Bev went to school in a little country school called Valar near the K2 mine. She boarded in Esterhazy while going to high school and went home on weekends.

Bev babysat for a family until she began her first job working at the telephone office in Esterhazy.

In 1955 Bev and Melville Victor Felsing first met each other in the town of Esterhazy and he became the love her life. They dated for three years and were married on November 29, 1958 in a double wedding with Bev's sister (Arkley) and Mel's brother (Gordon). Mel and Bev continued to live in Esterhazy for seven months.

In 1959 Mel worked on the road with South Construction. Bev travelled with him for his work all over Saskatchewan and lived in the crusher camps. Bev and Mel had their first of four children Peggy born on March 30, 1960; followed by Valarie on November 15, 1961; and Quinton on October 13, 1964.

In 1965, they moved their family of three to Regina during which time they had Leslie on July 20, 1966. Late in the year, they moved the family to Rocanville, Sask. where they purchased land from Mel's father (Wilfred). This is the current family acreage. After clearing the land, they built their home for a family of six where many happy memories were made for the next 48 years.

Bev was a busy mother to four children. Her passions were sewing, knitting, crocheting, gardening and her children. She took them to public skating, various sports activities, helped them with their homework and took them to church for Sunday school.

She taught 4H sewing and spent many hours sewing clothes for the family and others. As well, numerous skating costumes were created. She also worked as a retail clerk at the hardware store which is now the Super Thrifty Drug Store and waitressed at various locations in Rocanville and Moosomin.

Bev eventually took up golfing with Mel which meant her sewing got put on hold from time to time. Over the years, Bev and Mel enjoyed many golfing holidays all over Saskatchewan and Manitoba. In 1998 she got a hole-in-one at the Green Acres Golf Course near Regina while golfing with Mel, Jamie and Leslie.

Bev and Mel took pride in their six acre yard. Bev enjoyed her flower gardens. They both enjoyed growing potatoes and a few vegetables from their garden.

Bev lost her loving husband Mel on July 22, 2014. Being the amazing and strong woman that she was, she continued to manage the family acreage. This included recently painting the house and garage, and completing numerous house renovations.

She also had a dog named Max who was a great companion to her.

She was predeceased by her father Reginald Plummer; mother Erma; brother Ian Plummer; and (sister-in-law Sharon); brother-in-law Jock Felsing (sister-in-law Adelma); and son-in-law James (Jamie) Nemeth.

She is survived by her children Peggy Felsing; Valarie and Brad Frondall; Quinton Felsing (Kim); and Leslie Nemeth. Grandchildren Courtney and Ryan Millar (Reese and Jack); Jesse and Wyatt Felsing; Nicholas, Dylan and Matthew Frondall; Her sister Arkley and brother-in-law Gordon Felsing; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Bev will be sadly missed, but we know that her spirit will live on. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.

We would like to acknowledge and thank all her friends for your support that she received over the last few years. We (the family) greatly appreciate all you have done. She will be sadly missed.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at 2 p.m. at St. Paul's United Church, Rocanville, Sask.

Interment will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens, at a later date. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan and the Canadian Lung Association in memory of Bev.
