Gordon Passed away on January 18, 2017 at the age of 90 with family by his side.

Gordon was born November 11, 1926 in McAuley, Man. He was the youngest child of James Herbert Logan and Anne Latimer. Predeceased by sister Irene (Wood) in 1964, wife Mavis 2002, Daughter Christine 2008.

Gordon will be greatly missed by his children Randy (Shelly) Logan of Moose Jaw, Sask. Their children; Misty, and her children Colton, Kelsey and Madison; Ashley; Devin (Chelsey) and their son Bentley; Rick (Jodi) and their sons Connor, Jacob; Ryan (Tayla) and their children Eston and Ayda; Danielle (Adam) their children Paetyn, Kenzie and Kohen; Daughter Christine(deceased) and Terry Chambers and their son Henry, of Turtleford, Sk. Daughter Deborah (Terry) Salyn and their sons Jackson and Mathew, of Carberry, Manitoba. Several brother-in-law and sister-in-law’s.

Gordon left McAuley, Man. at a young age and moved to Winnipeg, Man.

He had numerous jobs. He married Mavis Osterbeck July 11, 1964 in Winnipeg. They soon moved to Moosomin in 1964, where he started Logan Upholstery, worked and raised their family.

Gordon retired from the Moosomin Union Hospital after 15 years. After retirement he pursued many hobbies, like making different kinds of bags which they sold at many craft sales.

After Mavis passed away, he moved to Turtleford to be close to family. After Christine passed away, he moved back to Moosomin, where he stayed till May of 2016, when he moved to Moose Jaw to be closer to family.

Gordon would be the first to point out that he was not perfect and that he had many flaws. His approach to life in general was one of hope, optimism and grace. He completely believed that no matter how dark this moment is or how painful an experience is, you can come through it stronger and better equipped to deal with whatever comes next.

Funeral service was held at G.R. Carscadden Funeral Chapel, Moosomin, on Wednesday, January 25 at 1 pm. with Rev. Dr. Mel Konkel officiating.

Interment was in the Moosomin South Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to the Moosomin and District Health Care Foundation, in memory of Gordon.
