William Henry (Bill) Malott passed away December 28, 2017 at the age of 84.
Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth (Graham) Malott, and father of Beth (Steve) Horychun, Fort St John, B.C. Anne and husband John Hee, Fort Saskatchewan, Alta. Nancy and husband Scott Rogal, Vietnam and Neil Malott, Osler, Sask.
Grandpa will be missed by 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, Judy Graham, Burlington, Ont. and Doris Graham, La Salle, Ont. (sister-in-laws) and his brother-in-law Max White of Talbotville, Ont.
Bill was pre-deceased by his parents, Elton and Lula (Fenwick) Malott, his brother Doug Malott, and sisters Jean Hull, Helen Martin, Ruth Malott and Marg White. He is survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Bill was a dairy farmer near St Thomas, then a constable with the Ontario Provincial Police (1961-71) in Woodstock, Port Stanley and St Thomas.
In 1971 Bill and Elizabeth moved the family to Rocanville, Sask. where they started Qu’Appelle Valley Apiaries. After retirement, in 2001, Bill continued to farm their small farm and began restoring old tractors.
A service celebrating Bill's life will be held in July in Rocanville, Sask.
In Bill's memory, donations may be made to The Nature Conservancy of Canada or the Moosomin and District Health Care Foundation.
