Charles David Veysey was born in Wawota, Sask. to George and Olive (Vail) Veysey on September 9, 1947.

He entered into heaven and the loving arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus suddenly and peacefully on December 8, 2018.

Charlie grew up on the farm and attended school at Hillcrest and Maryfield. After graduation he studied for two years at Millar College of the Bible. He worked at the dairy at Caronport, where he met his wife of 49 years, Carol (Hartsook).

Charlie completed an Industrial Instrumentation course at Moose Jaw and then worked for Sask Power in the gas fields till 1975 when the family returned to Maryfield to the home farm. In 2008 the farm was sold and Charlie and Carol retired into Maryfield.

Charlie is survived by his wife Carol, five children-Cynthia Wargin (Jason), Crystal, Devon, Tavis (Angela), Brett; nine grandchildren—Quinn and Bryce Wargin, Keilan Veysey, Jaden Baragar, Kaitlyn and Jessica and Carson Veysey; and Alyssa and Evangeline Veysey.

Siblings—Dale (Sandi), Marjorie McLeod, Morris (Dora), John, Paul (Leslie), brothers-in-law Lorne Anderson and Richard McLeod, Auntie Marie Vail, Uncle Charlie Easton and many, many nieces and nephews and cousins.

Charlie was predeceased by his parents, George and Olive Veysey, brother Blaine, sisters Fern Anderson, Linda McLeod, nieces Susan and Norleen, and brother-in-law Ab McLeod.

Charlie was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.
