Judy Frances McAuley (nee Marshall) was born April 14, 1946 at Elkhorn, Man. and passed away with medical assistance and her family by her side on April 23, 2019.

Judy was the second daughter born to Ben and Ruth “Topsy” Marshall.

She grew up around the Manson area, and went to school in Virden for her high school and collegiate years. Judy met Gerald McAuley and they married in 1964, and had a daughter Terri McAuley in 1969.

They moved to Alberta and later divorced. Then Judy met Doug Seitz and they forged their relationship. The family moved around Alberta, then made a few stops in the NWT. During this time Judy worked as a secretary, a unit clerk, a guard for the RCMP… she did a variety of things. Once the family moved back to Alberta, Judy was able to work less and this gave her time to spend with her family including granddaughter Jessica.

Judy loved to putter around in the city, poking around the malls and buying Starbucks cappuccinos. She also liked to travel and went to Alaska, Dominican Republic, Hawaii and her favorite Victoria, B.C. where she and her sister Twila would have high tea, go to the spa, relax at Twila’s home reading books and drinking coffee.

Judy loved her little family, and we were a close group spending much time together.

She is survived by her loving family: husband Doug Seitz, daughter Terri McAuley and husband Mike Farrow, and granddaughter Jessica Farrow along with step-children Steven (Mary) Seitz, Terry Seitz and Bonnie (Clint) Seitz. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren.

A very casual gathering of family and close friends will take place May 18, 2019 at 2 pm at the Manson cemetery with a lunch to follow.
