The family of Keith Knuttila are saddened to announce the passing of their dad, grandpa, brother and friend on Saturday, June 8, 2019 in Swift Current, SK, after a very brief and sudden battle with cancer. He left us peacefully with family by his side.

His family left behind to mourn his passing are his daughters, Kelly (Arne) Jensen, Tammy Knuttila and Holly Knuttila; his daughter-in-law Shannon Knuttila; his grandchildren Wesley (Jude) Stefaniuk, Tara Lee Stefaniuk (Cody Craig), Chad Knuttila, Jeffrey Knuttila and Amanda Knuttila; his brothers, Stanley Knuttila (Colleen), Cecile Knuttila (Lynn) and Gordon Knuttila (Marilyn); his sisters Phyllis (Don) Strong and Ruby (Arnold) Louma and his numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and countless friends. He will be missed deeply by us all.

Keith was predeceased by his wife Irene Knuttila, his son Kerry, his parents, Elmer and Impi Knuttila; his siblings Leslie Knuttila, Shirley Wotton, Lawrence Knuttila, Jeannie Larway, and his brother-in-law Albert Wotton.

Keith was born in the New Finland District of Southern Saskatchewan where he grew up on a farm in the Wapella area.

Keith worked as a pipefitter after leaving the farm, at various oilfield, potash mining and construction locations throughout Saskatchewan and Alberta. For many years Keith operated his company K-Line Oilfield Construction Ltd out of Swift Current, SK.

Keith requested that a service not be held.

The family wishes to thank all the doctors and nurses at St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon and Clover House at The Meadows in Swift Current for your kindness and support through this heartbreaking time.
