Mrs. Elizabeth ‘Beth’ May Blackmore passed away peacefully at Bethany CollegeSide, Red Deer, Alberta, after a life of love, family and friends on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at the age of 91 years.
Beth was born on November 19, 1927 in Abernethy, Saskatchewan.
Beth graduated from Nursing School in 1950. Nursing was Beth’s second love, and she had a long and fulfilling career.
She married the love of her life and best friend on August 16, 1952. Together, she and Fred farmed, travelled and spent sixty-three wonderful years together.
Beth will be lovingly remembered by her children Lois (Ed) Dickin of Red Deer, Gordon (Tee) Blackmore of Regina, and Marg (Barry) Williscroft of Innisfail; her grandchildren, Scott (Mandy) Dickin, Sarah (Jason) Jaster, Brittany (Brody) Leveille, Kirk (Melissa) Williscroft, Adam Blackmore and Greg Blackmore; and nine great-grandchildren. Beth was predeceased by her husband, Fred.
A Memorial Service was held at Gaetz Memorial United Church, 4758-50 Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 11 am.
