Linda passed away peacefully at the Virden Hospital at the age of 68, on October 13, 2019.

She is survived by and will be cherished in the hearts of her husband, Douglas Wesley Braybrook of Virden, her mother, Mrs. Mame Grant, Neil Grant, and all her cousins, nieces, nephews and their children and grandchildren, along with Uncle Archie Gilchrist, Aunt Anne Hill, and family relatives In Finland, Scotland, Canada, and the United States.

She was predeceased by her brother John Grant in 1975, and her father, Alex Grant, in 2001, Uncles Roy Hill, Vilho Hill, Aimo Hill, Melvin Hill, Melfort and Agnes Hill, her grandparents, John and Ellen Hill, James and Margaret Grant, Aunt Rene Marshall and cousins Terry, Brian, Aunt Aune and Uncle Frank Gajersky, cousin, Maryln and Elaine’s daughter, Devon.

Linda was honored for 30 years of service in 2014 at Border Regional Library in Virden, and completed 35 years of service as of October 2019.

A celebration of Linda’s life will be held after the Federal Election, with a theme to commemorate her dedication to the Library and all of her patrons, friends and family.

All inter-denominational faiths, political and cultural, library and art friends will be welcomed, including owners and protectors of furry friends, and purr-therapy service animals, as well as former Riding Club and horse owners.

Charitable donations can be made in lieu of flowers and gifts to the charity of your choice.
