Karl was born October 13, 1932 at Meeting Lake, Saskatchewan (90 kms NE of North Battleford) and passed away December 27, 2019. He was surrounded by his family and loved ones at the South East Care Centre in Moosomin.

Karl, and his parents (Gabriel and Hulda) his brothers and sisters moved to the Rocanville area in 1942. He was 10 years old.

Karl met the love of his life, Vera Klinger in 1952 and they were married October 27, 1954. For the past 65 years, they farmed and worked side by side, growing crops and raising livestock.

Karl is survived by his wonderful, loving and caring wife, Vera and their three children, Brenda, Terry and Glenn. Brenda (Ernest): Grandson Jason (Tara) and their children: Alyson, Lexi, Dawson, Zoe, Shylo and Grady. Granddaughter Tresley (Derek) and their children: Jovie, Jaxon and Neve, and Granddaughters: Courtney and Megan (Trevor) Terry (Michelle): Grandson Tyson (Fairyn), Joshua (Jenna) and their son Lincoln and granddaughter: Calysta, Glenn (Lisa): Grandson Jaymon (Sarah), granddaughter Savanah (Ian) and their children Mason and Ava, granddaughter Jessica (Johnny) and their children Jack, Hazel, granddaughter Jewel (Mitch) and their son Marcus, and grandson Dylan (Brie). Karl is also survived by his sister Alma and many nieces and nephews.

Karl is predeceased by his father Gabriel (1989) and his mother Hulda (1970). Also, by brothers William, Ed, George and sisters Hedwig, Lucy, Edith and Frieda.
