Florence Elizabeth Reavie (Dauncey) was born on March 10, 1917 to parents Frank and Nellie Dauncey. She had four siblings: Russell, Hugh, Alma and Maggie. Flossie passed away peacefully on January 15, 2020 at the age of 102 years.

She married Jack Reavie on March 17, 1942 after returning from the war. They began farming at what was called the Bob Logan farm for 21 years, then later moved to where Ken and Twila live now. They had three children: Janice, Kenneth and Lori.

In 1992, Jack and Flossie celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary. In 1993, Jack passed away suddenly and Flossie moved into the Pioneer Lodge in town. She spent many happy years there until failing health put her on the path to her final home at the Moosomin Nursing Home. She would participate in everything until her passing on January 15, 2020. She was in her 103rd year of life.

One of her favorite verses she found for her grandchildren was this:
If you can’t be a highway, then just be a trail.
If you can’t be the sun, be a star.
For it isn’t by size that we win or we fail.
But by being the best of whatever we are!

Flossie leaves to mourn, her family of: Janice and Bill Walker, Kenneth and Twila Reavie, Lori and Harvey Callin.

Her grandchildren Troy (Amber) Reavie, Scott (Heidi) Reavie, Cory (Lindsay) Reavie, Jay (Krystal) Walker and Becky (Chad) Taman.

Her great-grandchildren Nash, Marty and Blake Reavie, Rylee, Jewel Charlie, Isla Reavie, Camden, Ryerson and Brynley Walker, Nixon and Berkley Taman and by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
