Evelyn Williscroft after a life of love, family and friends passed away peacefully on Monday, March 30, 2020 at the age of 92 years at the Lampman Community Health Centre in Lampman, Saskatchewan.

Evelyn Mundell was born on July 29, 1927 on the family farm near Red Jacket, Saskatchewan.

Evelyn started school in Trafford not far from home, and completed high school in Moosomin, where she met her husband Allan. Evelyn and Allan Williscroft were married on September 11, 1947.

Evelyn started work at the Co-op Creamery after high school, and eventually became the bookkeeper. She was then approached by the Moosomin School to teach bookkeeping. She began teaching Accounting/Typing in 1961 and spent several years doing correspondence courses while attending summer school at U of R and UBC to eventually complete her teaching certificate. Evelyn enjoyed a fulfilling career as an educator for 26 years.

After Allan’s passing on August 4, 1994, she enjoyed traveling with friends and family. This included a trip to Alaska with her son Barry, Nashville with her grandson Kevin and the Maritimes with her sister Barb.
Evelyn was predeceased by her husband Allan and sister Barbara. She is survived by her children; Lois (Ron) Mahnke of Lampman, and Barry (Marg) Williscroft of Innisfail, Alberta.

She is further survived by her grandchildren; Kevin (Sheri) Mahnke, Abbie (Brent) Velestuk, Brittany (Brody) Leveille, Kirk (Melissa) Williscroft, and 10 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Evelyn always felt at home in the different care homes she lived at in her later years, including Regency Court, Hilltop Manor and the LCHC. The family has requested that donations be made to your local community health centre.
