Anna was born on July 4, 1909, to Josef and Carolina Main, in Claybank, Sask. She was the sixth of nine children and grew up on the family farm.

She was married to Frank Mannle on May 7, 1927, and together they raised a family of eight children. Anna and Frank farmed in the Claybank and Avonlea area for many years, before moving into Moosomin in 1951, where they continued to farm until 1966. They moved to their retirement home in Moosomin, and due to Frank's failing health, lived there until his passing in 1969.

Anna was able, with the help of family, to remain in her own home until she moved into the nursing home in 2006.

Anna's life was her family and church. She spent countless hours sewing, knitting, crocheting and making quilts for family and friends.

Anna was predeceased by her parents and all eight of her siblings, her husband Frank, son Rudy and son-in-law Dan Rodger.

She leaves to mourn her loving family, Joseph, Victoria, Christina, Frank (Marian), Edward (Carol), Margaret (Vern), Alfred (Gloria), and daughter-in-law Jean; 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 16 great-great-grandchildren.

Anna passed away on Dec. 9, 2012. Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church on Dec. 15, 2012, with Father Hector Seville officiating. Interment was at Moosomin North Cemetery. Funeral arrangements by G.R. Carscadden Funeral Chapel.
