Lionel Clifford Harrison passed peacefully at the age of 88, early Sunday morning on May 1, 2022, at the Pasqua Hospital after a memorable day spent surrounded by his immediate family, listening to his favourite music. The oldest of two children, Lionel was born to Clifford and Evelyn Harrison on a small farm west of Rocanville, on November 29, 1933. He married Betty Howie on July 6, 1957 in Regina, where they raised their two children, Rodney and Kevin.

Lionel was a kind soul who was a proud father and an even prouder grandfather. He enjoyed playing pool and cards, watching baseball and his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs play on TV, listening to country music, and discussing family history. After leaving the family farm, Lionel worked briefly with the B&B Railway crew before moving to Regina in 1957. Lionel then spent most of his career working as a warehouseman at Sears for 31 years. After retirement from that position, he continued his association with Sears, with a part-time job working for the cleaning company that cleaned the Sears Bargain Center.

Lionel was predeceased by his parents and two sisters who died at birth. He is survived by his wife, Betty; son, Rodney and his wife Joanne; son, Kevin and his wife, Debbie; grandchildren, Erica and Kyle, Lucas and Logan and step-grandchild, Emily Ikert; sister, Lois, and her husband, Don Bell; sisters-in-law, Bea Huber, Joy and Wilfred Sikora, Gaylene and Roy Warner; brothers-in-law Garnet Howie, Allan Howie and Karen Payant, Terry and Donnette Howie; as well as, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
