Harold Boehmer, beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, passed away on May 10, 2022 at Deer View Lodge in Wawota, Sask. Left to mourn his passing, are his wife, Faith, sons, Chris (Melody), Michael (Heather), and granddaughter, Jasmine (Alex), grandson, Brent (Ashleigh), brother, Luther (Janice), and brother-in-law, Ralph Burke.

Harold was predeceased by two daughters, Shelley and Lisa, his mother and father, John and Mary Boehmer, brothers, John (Edith), Karl (Dottie), Fred, sisters, Dorothy (George), Mary (Earl), Trudy (Eueald), and Flora Burke.

Harold was born on October 22, 1935, to John and Mary Boehmer in Walople, Sask, where he grew up.
He started farming at a young age with his father, then later farmed with his brother, Luther. He was an excellent farmer—there wasn’t anything he couldn’t fix and he taught his sons to do the same as they grew up.

Harold and Faith were married in 1968 and continued to live in Walpole.

He was the most wonderful husband, father and grandfather. His children and grandchildren were always very precious to him. He and Faith took the family on many enjoyable camping trips to the mountains in Alberta and B.C. and many other places.

Harold will be sadly missed by his family and friends and everyone who knew him.

There will be a graveside service at a later date at the Walpole Cemetery.
