Morley passed away at his home in Rocanville on January 5, 2022 following a sudden stroke.

Morley was born on February 13, 1951 at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Esterhazy. He was the youngest of seven children. Morley grew up on a family farm near Tantallon and attended school in Tantallon.

To start his working career, Morley was employed at the former PFRA Tree Nursery in Indian Head, Sask. Following this he worked with Potash Home Builders in Esterhazy before moving to British Columbia in 1969. He worked as a carpenter in Fernie and Kelowna, framing homes and doing major renovations to existing homes.

Morley married Barbara Manachuk in Kelowna in July 1974. They moved to Saskatoon shortly after that and then settled in Osler, Sask. Their son, Bradley, was born in February 1980. Morley owned and operated an eavestroughing business for a few years in Saskatoon and later worked for a flooring company in Saskatoon, installing floor coverings.

After Morley and Barbara divorced, Morley moved back to Tantallon when he started his career as an Ironworker in Saskatchewan.

Morley met Terry Campbell in the 1990s. They made their home together in Rocanville until Terry’s tragic passing in 1997.

Morley enjoyed being an Ironworker but that career ended after he sustained a back injury, which required surgery and a long period of convalescence. Following that, he was able to enjoy doing some local home renovation projects. More recently, Morley took great pride in managing maintenance work at the Rocanville Golf and Country Club for several years.

There were two sports that Morley enjoyed playing and watching during his lifetime and they were hockey and golf. He was an avid fan of the Rocanville Tigers and enjoyed following their “at home and away” games.

Morley is survived by his son, Bradley Voth, his sister, Eileen Etherington, brothers, Delbert (Fern) Lowe, and Lorne (Edna) Lowe, sisters-in-law, Maureen Brower and Valerie Lowe, as well as many nephews, nieces, great-nephews and nieces, and many friends.

Morley was predeceased by his parents, Tom and Margaret (Peggy) Lowe, brother, Mervyn, and sister-in-law, Joan Lowe, brothers, Ken and Elden Lowe, brother-in-law, Jim Etherington, and special partner Terry Campbell.

A graveside service for Morley will be held at 1 pm on June 19, 2022 at the Valley View Cemetery, west of Tantallon, followed by lunch served at the Tantallon Memorial Rink.
