Cameron Conrad Hutchinson was born September 30, 1969 in Moosomin, Sask. to the late Gerald and surviving Anne Hutchinson of Rocanville. He was the youngest of six children, survived by Valerie McAuley, Bruce (Angela) Hutchinson, Randy (Sheree) Hutchinson, Sandra (Wayne) Logan, and Fred Hutchinson. He is further survived by his loving wife, Pam, as well as his children Brianna, Paige, Rylar, Kaylee, and Jeffrey.

Cam attended his entire schooling in Rocanville, which is where he met his wife, Pam. Before he was out of high school, he started right into the poultry business, expanding several times along the way. Hutch’s Poultry was a family-run business with Pam, children, Anne, close neighbours, and hired-hands all pitching in, making fresh farm eggs available to the surrounding communities.

Along with the poultry business, Cam also grain farmed with his Dad and brothers. In recent years, Cam and Pam began farming their own 1,000 acres with their children Rylar, Kaylee, and Jeffrey.

On July 31, 1993 he married his high school sweetheart, Pamela Paul, daughter of Frank and Marilyn Paul of Moosomin and the late Ed and Marlene Fazakas of Regina. Together, they raised five beautiful children on their family farm between Rocanville and Moosomin. When he could be pulled away from the farm, he enjoyed snowmobiling with friends in the winter, camping with friends and family in the summers, and keeping busy watching his children at their many sporting events.

In October 2018, Cam was diagnosed with Mantle Cell lymphoma (a type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma). He fought hard and was successfully in remission by March 2020. Despite doing everything, Cam contracted COVID-19 in March 2022. He fought hard in the ICU at Regina General Hospital with family and friends constantly by his side for support. He was transferred to the Pasqua Hospital on April 30. COVID continued to attack Cam’s lungs, until his battle became too much. On May 8, 2022, Cam passed away peacefully with his entire family by his side at the age of 52.

The entire Hutchinson family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to family, friends, and community for all the love and support received over the past few months. The messages of condolence, cards, food, flowers, gifts, and company has truly been overwhelming and carried us through this difficult time. There are no true words to express our humbled gratitude towards everyone—except THANK-YOU!
