June Knuttila (Connor) passed away peacefully on Saturday August 27, 2022 in her own home in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 85 years.

Loving wife to the late Les Knuttila, dear mom to daughter Shelley Knuttila and son-in-law Jerry Robichaud of Calgary.

Predeceased by her parents Leslie and Nellie Connor; parents-in-law Elmer and Impi Knuttila; brothers-in-law: Larry Knuttila, Keith Knuttila, Stanley Knuttila, Albert Watton, and Don Strong; sisters-in-law: Jeanne Larway, Shirley Watton, and Irene Knuttila; and nephew Kerry Knuttila.

Survived by Cecil (Lynn) Knuttila, Ruby (Arnold) Louma, Colleen Knuttila, Phyllis Strong, Gordon (Marilyn) Knuttila, Cal Larway, Barb Knuttila and numerous nieces and nephews.

June was born on December 17, 1936 in Moosomin Saskatchewan.

She graduated from Nurse’s Training in Brandon, Manitoba in 1957 and then married the love of her life, Les Knuttila.

They lived in all three western provinces, the majority of the time in Alberta and had one daughter, Shelley.

June loved gardening, playing cards, crossword puzzles, crocheting, watching CFL football (Roughriders fan), all curling on TV, and spending time with friends.

June had been an active member of the Lions Club and was a lifetime member.
June’s family would like to thank all mom’s friends at the Prince of Peace Village for all the friendship and support throughout the past two decades.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
