With his loving wife at his side, on Sunday, December 4, 2022, at Bluewater Health, Terry Dean Barros passed away at the age of 62.
Beloved husband of Marilyn. Loving father of Calli (Luke) Emmett and Kenley Barros (Jennyce).
Treasured son of Ann Barros.
Cherished ‘Gumpy’ to Leo and Pearson Dean.
Dear brother of Tony (Mitzi) Barros and Fawn (Doug) Swiderski, and brother-in-law of Cheryl (Kent) Frank.
Remembered by nieces and nephews Colby (Michelle) Barros, Devin Barros, Nic (Shelby) Swiderski, Dillon Demeester, Raylene (Josh) Demeester, Jordan Demeester, and many great-nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his father Gary, his i-laws Grant and Eileen Russell, and his dog Aldo.
Terry grew up on his family farm, was an incredibly hardworking and dedicated man who served 37 years with Cargill.
When he wasn’t working, Terry loved sitting on the deck with a coffee or beer and discussing all life events with his best friend, Marilyn.
He loved woodworking, going for drives in the Barracuda, and he lit up whenever his grand boys came around.
He loved his family so deeply and is so missed.
Terry embraced opportunities within his company to transfer to many locations across Canada.
He became very involved with the local Kinsmen and Curling clubs, having a passion for serving his community.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service was held at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Saturday, December 10, 2022.
