Ross Windsor, loving husband, father & brother, passed away at the age of 85 years on February 17, 2023 at the Moosomin Hospital. He was born Sept. 28, 1937, in Edam, SK. to Archie and Eugenie Windsor.

He went to a school in the country in his young years, then high school in Mervin, Saskatchewan.

One of his first jobs was working with an electrician. He eventually started working for the Department of Highways building the amazing Saskatchewan roads.

While working near Carlyle, Saskatchewan, he met Dorothy Dyer and they married in 1962.

He started driving semi for Dairy Producers in 1963 and later transferred to Moosomin in 1970. After 33 years he semi-retired.

He worked at the golf course in Moosomin for a year and also worked at Bradley’s GM Dealership in Moosomin for five years before fully retiring.
Ross loved to golf, curl and listen to country music, especially Johnny Cash.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 60 years, Dorothy; son, Larry (Shelly) Windsor and their children Chelsea and Tyler; daughter, Marla (Randy ex-husband) Sexsmith and their children Amber, Rachel and Robyn; brother, Ron (Donna) Windsor, brother Neil (Theresa) Windsor, and brother George (Virginia) Windsor; numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews; along with long-time friends Ron Gray and John Ursel. He will also be missed by his friends at the golf course.

He was predeceased by his parents Archie and Eugenie, his brothers Bill (Audrey) Windsor and Bob (Eileen) Windsor.

A celebration of life was held on February 22, 2023.
