Nola Evelyn Mowbray

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Nola Evelyn Mowbray, on November 18, 2023 at Deer View Lodge in Wawota, Saskatchewan at the age of 86.
Nola passed away peacefully leaving behind her four children: Roy Mowbray of Prince Albert, Ron (Christina) Mowbray of Estevan, Donna (Allan) Leech of Wawota, and Janet (Joel) Dvernichuk of Regina.
She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Nichole Mowbray, Hollie (Shayne) Fuchs, Candace (Lane) Jepson, Kashton Campbell, Echo (Matt) Holbrow, Ryan (Heather) Mowbray, Jared Mowbray, Warren Kolb, Randy Leech, Stephanie Leech, and Janelle Dvernichuk; her brother Wayne (Jean) Brehaut of Alberta; her sister Myrna (Keith) Olson of Wawota, and sixteen great-grandchildren.
She also leaves behind Elaine Taylor who was like a daughter to mom and dad and a sister to us.
Nola was predeceased by her loving husband Frank Mowbray (Bud), her parents Denton and Grace Brehaut, her brother Grant Brehaut, and three grandchildren, Riley Mowbray, Natasha Leech, and Josh Dvernichuk.
Nola had a full and complete life working along side her loving husband Bud for over sixty years on the farm that they both loved.
The family would like to take this time to thank Deer View Lodge and Dr. Roets for the compassionate care they gave Nola in her final months.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations maybe made in Nola’s honour to Deer View Lodge in Wawota or STARS of Regina.
There will be a memorial service and lunch at the Wawota Town Hall on December 2 at 2 pm.
