Faith Lynnette Norton was born on October 13, 1970 in Moosomin, Saskatchewan, to Scott and Heather Norton of Rocanville, Saskatchewan.
She was the oldest of three children, survived by Warren and Pam. She is further survived by her son, Austin, and nieces Presley, Tyler, Gracie, Ava, Josie, and Bryer.
Faith attended her entire schooling in Rocanville. She was a lifelong learner, so she furthered her education in many areas, such as Office Administration, French as a Second Language, a Bachelor of Social Work Degree, Functional Nutrition, Functional Genomics, and Terrain Advocacy.
She also enjoyed hands-on learning by working in various jobs throughout her life, with her biggest desire being to help others in any way she could.
She worked in health care, in various positions, for 16 years advocating for patients, and recently, she started up her own business LYT (Live Your Truth) Counselling & Coaching Services.
Faith also very much enjoyed volunteering at events both locally and internationally.
Over the past several years, Faith developed a very close relationship with God. She believed that we are spiritual beings having a human experience, so for her, the human experience has ended, but she very much lives on in the spirit world.
She asked that this poem be included, as a final gift, in hopes that it will bring a smile to your face and give you some comfort and peace.
For Those I Love &
Those Who Love Me
Thank you for the love each of you has shown, but now it is time for me to travel on alone.
Grieve a while for me, if you must. Then let your grief be comforted by trust.
It’s only for a time that we must be apart, so bless the memories within your heart.
I won’t be far away, for life goes on. If you need me, call and I will come.
Though you can no longer see or touch me, I will be near.
If you listen with your heart, you will hear, all my love around you, soft and clear.
In lieu of flowers, for those who so desire, memorial donations may be made to World Vision Canada - 1 World Drive, Mississauga, ON, L5T 2Y4, or to Shelter Canada - 420 1295 18th Ave. NE, Calgary AB., T2E 7T8 or to Casa Hogar de Cabo San Lucas A.C. in memory of Faith.
