Donald Wayne Mitchell of Regina passed away suddenly on January 9, 2014 at the age of 74.

Left to cherish Don’s memory is his loving wife of 49 years, Beverley; sons David (Rae Ann) and Dennis (Shannon); and three very special grandchildren, Emma, Kyle and Dessa.

He is also survived by one sister, Doreen (Don) Ikert of Rocanville; brothers-in-law, Dave Duke, Lorne (Diane) Duke, Les (Shelley) Duke and sisters-in-law Brenda (Wilf) Brule all of Regina, Jean Bailey of Moosomin, many special nieces and nephews and all his Fraternal Order of Eagles brothers and sisters.

Don was predeceased by his parents Harold and Anne Mitchell, Beverley’s parents Tom and Myrtle Duke, brothers-in-law Doug and Carl Duke, and sisters-in-law Gail and Elsie Duke, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Don was born in Rocanville on August 6, 1939. He received his education in Rocanville. Don devoted his whole career to the trucking industry. In 2004 Don and his sons David and Dennis started their own courier company, 3D Delivery. He was very proud of this accomplishment.

A celebration of Don’s life was held at the Regina Funeral Home on Highway 1 East on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at 2 p.m.
