Richard Donald Dyke passed away at SEICC with his family by his side on May 2, 2014 after a hard fought battle with brain cancer.

Rick was born in Grenfell on May 16, 1956 to Arnold and Margaret Dyke of Oakshella. The family moved to Rocanville in 1957. Rick started working at PCS Rocanville in 1978, where he was still employed.

He enjoyed sports, mainly softball, golf, hockey and football. He liked the Saskatchewan Roughriders and loved going to games. He liked renovating also and was always working on something in the house.

Rick leaves to mourn his wife Karen; sons Scott (Leslie), Ashley, Keegan and Morgan; Kent (Ruth), Sydney, and Natalie; Gary (Nicole), Weston and Dawson; stepson Shane (Stephanie), Shanley and Skylar and Shanley’s mom Christine; stepdaughter Robyn and Halen and Halen’s dad Cal. Rick also leaves to mourn sisters Cathy (Blaine), son Clark (Darcy); Karen, daughter Vicky (Sean), sons Andrew and Michael; brother Randy, Corinne and Christine; and sister-in-law Connie (Stewart), Danielle (Dan) and special grand-niece Ava, who he was also Papa Rick to, Kendra (Jory) and Brendon, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Rick was predeceased by infant son Terry, his parents Arnold and Margaret, mother-in-law Evelyn Gravener and uncles and aunts.

He will be missed by all who kew and loved him.
