Audrey Victoria Fry passed away peacefully at the Sarcee Carewest Home in Calgary on Friday, January 30, 2015 at the age of 87 years.

She was born on September 26, 1927 to parents Elbertha and James Stutters. She married Fisher Fry on October 10, 1949. They lived on the family farm until 1986 when they moved to Moosomin.

After Fisher’s passing, she moved to Calgary in 2005 where she lived with her daughter Sherry and family until 2008 at which time she suffered a stroke and had to move into a care facility. Although she faced many challenges over the next six years, she kept a smile on her face and made the best of things.

As well as being a homemaker, she loved her music, taught piano for several years, and continued to play with only the use of her left hand to the end of 2014. Also, once in Calgary, she loved to go camping with Sherry and Garry.

Audrey will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by daughters Sherry and Gayle (Darrell); granddaughter Melissa (Dar); three step-grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren and three step-great-great-grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Audrey was predeceased by her parents, husband Fisher, son-in-law Garry, and son-in-law George.

A private family graveside service will be held in the summer at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

If friends desire, memorial tributes may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the charity of your choice in memory of Audrey.
