James Keith (Jim) Webster, 86, of Regina, Saskatchewan, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2015 in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Jim was born in Rocanville, Saskatchewan April 15, 1928 to John Keith Webster and Mary Grace Adair. He attended Hillburn school, finishing his education in 1946. He then began working for the Canadian Bank of Commerce at Virden, Manitoba, working in several communities in Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

Jim met and married Nan Munro while they both worked for the bank in Saskatoon. He managed branches in Rouleau, Dinsmore, Stoughton, Melfort, Lloydminster and Weyburn before transferring to CIBC’s Regional Office in Regina, retiring in 1988 as Northwest Saskatchewan area manager.

He volunteered for several organizations and was a long time Rotarian, most recently with the Rotary Club of Regina Eastview. Jim played golf and curled for many years.

He was an avid Saskatchewan Roughrider fan and season ticket holder for over 35 years.

Jim was predeceased by his parents; his father- and mother-in-law George and Margaret Munro; his brothers- and sisters-in-law Gordon and Jean Barrett, Marg Corrins and Howard Thompson.

Jim is survived by his wife Nan; his daughters Margaret (Byron) Adams and Kathy Webster; his grandson Keith Adams; and his sister Jean Spencer (Jim Trenaman); all of Regina.

Jim is also survived by his brothers- and sisters-in-law Ron (Bert) Corrins of Swift Current, Irene Thompson of Saskatoon, Dan and Betty McGillivray of Naicam; his uncle Alan Adair and his aunt Betty Adair, both of Maryfield; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service was held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 1 p.m. with Reverend Jim Balfour of Broadway United Church officiating. Private interment will follow at a later date.
