Ruth Johnson

Ruth was born March 30, 1948 to Charles and Anne McIntosh in Indian Head. She was a spoiled only child! Although an only child, Ruth had an extended family in Indian Head and stayed in touch through the years. Ruth’s growing up years were spent in Indian Head.
She married at 19 years of age and to this union came the blessing of three children. She and her family moved to Moosomin in 1982. Ruth and her mother were very close. She made many trips back to Indian Head until her mother’s passing on November 7, 1997.
In 2008, Ruth met Charles and they enjoyed a wonderful life together. Ruth worked at various jobs, the longest of which and right up to the present was for Randy Davidson.
Ruth is survived by her daughter Kim Johnson-Hilts (Ron) and their children Clare Hogarth (Bora) and Clayton Johnson (Hailee); daughter Alison Johnson and her son Dan McDougall (Stephanie); son Mark Johnson (Alexis) and their children Abigail and Rebecca; stepchildren Chris Friesen (Samantha) and their children Karmi, Ashlynn and Kyla; Tracy Ross (Pat) and their children Kendra and Tate; Rochelle Friesen and her children Kelton and Zoe.
She is predeceased by her parents; step-son Darren Friesen and step granddaughter, Cienna Friesen.
A memorial service took place on Monday, December 28, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the G.R. Carscadden Funeral Chapel, Moosomin, Sask. Interment will be at a later date.
