Alyson left us peacefully on Friday, February 5, 2016, at the Pasqua Hospital, Regina, with her family and close friends by her side.
She was an inspiration to all of us as she graciously faced the challenges of cancer for two and a half years.
Born in Surrey, BC, on May 24, 1980, the eldest of four children of Glen and Charlene Wimmer, Alyson will be dearly missed by Jarvis, her loving husband of 16 years, and their two children, Daudi (8yrs) and Adair (7yrs).
She will also be lovingly remembered by her parents, Glen and Charlene; sister Kelty (Ashley) Becker; brothers Brice (Angela) and Ryan (Chelsea); 13 nieces and nephews; grandparents, Arvid and Levonne Thue, Zena Wimmer and Dora Olsen, as well as her extended family and numerous friends.
The family wishes to thank the staff of the Pasqua Hospital for their exceptional care. Funeral Service was held in the Rocanville Skating Rink, 702 Francis Avenue, Rocanville, SK on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 10:30 a.m.
Interment in Webster Cemetery, Rocanville, SK. Flowers most gratefully declined. Friends so wishing may make donations in memory of Alyson, to a trust fund for Daudi and Adair Olsen in the account name of Jarvis and Roy Olsen at any TD Canada Trust Branch.
