Theodore Harvey Ketcheson passed away peacefully on April 10, 2013 at Moosomin hospital at the age of 90 years. Harvey was born on the family farm in the Mountney District on September 16, 1922 to Theodore and Mary Ketcheson.

In 1946 he married Mary Stamm, who was working at the Royal Bank in Wawota after which they farmed for a time near Kelso. In 1960 they purchased the farm of Harvey's uncle Everett Ketcheson and moved their growing family to their new home. He worked hard and enjoyed his life as a farmer.
In the spring of 1983 Harvey and Mary retired to live in Moosomin. Mary passed away in October 2004. Harvey lived independently in his own home until his decline and passing.

Harvey is survived by his five sons: Bill (Shelly), Rick (Kathy), Phil (Janice), Rod (Laura) and David; and by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

He was predeceased by his wife Mary and grandson Jessie.

A funeral service was held at Bethel United Church, Moosomin on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Joan Rennie-Laing officiating. Interment took place at Zion Cemetery.

If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made in memory of Harvey to The Moosomin and District Healthcare Foundation-Palliative Care, or to the Kidney Foundation.
