It is with great sadness that Wally’s family announces the peaceful passing of a dear husband, father and grandpa on Monday, August 15, 2016, at the age of 75 years. Wally is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Marjorie; children, Shelley (Robert) Clifford; Sherry (Franc) Kiss and their children, Adam and Sara; Sheldon (Shalila) Steinke and their children, Kye and Tilar; Shane (Michelle) Steinke and their son, Curtis.
Wally is predeceased by his parents, Albert and Olga Steinke; step-sister, Hilda Klinger and brother, Ernest Steinke.
A Celebration honouring Wally will be held at the Wapella School on Saturday, September 24, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. (Condolences may be expressed by visiting our website at www.cooksouthland.com)
In lieu of flowers if friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Wapella Minor Hockey Association.
